What It Is
Section titled “What It Is”syn-ai is the foundational artificial intelligence engine for Syn_OS, providing decision-making, pattern recognition, neural networks, and intelligent system optimization in a no_std kernel-compatible design. It abstracts AI capabilities behind feature-flagged modules so downstream crates can opt into only the intelligence they need without pulling the full cognitive stack.

How It’s Wired
Section titled “How It’s Wired”- syn-security — The
securitymodule bridges AI confidence scores into security policy decisions (consciousness_bridge integration). - Quantum-inspired ML — The
quantummodule provides Hamiltonian dynamics and density-matrix simulation for quantum-classical hybrid reasoning, wired to theneuralandinferencemodules. - ALFRED daemon — The
security-integrationandai-bridgefeature flags expose a minimal surface for the daemon to consume AI state without pulling the fullno_stdkernel crate. - Consciousness Scheduler — The
schedulermodule uses Earliest Deadline First with metabolic budgeting to prioritize AI tasks against system resource constraints, integrated at the engine level.
Future Ideas

syn-aifor browser-side inference in the GRIMOIRE client. - Add a
