syn-ai is the foundational artificial intelligence engine for Syn_OS, providing decision-making, pattern recognition, neural networks, and intelligent system optimization in a no_std kernel-compatible design. It abstracts AI capabilities behind feature-flagged modules so downstream crates can opt into only the intelligence they need without pulling the full cognitive stack.

  1. syn-security — The security module bridges AI confidence scores into security policy decisions (consciousness_bridge integration).
  2. Quantum-inspired ML — The quantum module provides Hamiltonian dynamics and density-matrix simulation for quantum-classical hybrid reasoning, wired to the neural and inference modules.
  3. ALFRED daemon — The security-integration and ai-bridge feature flags expose a minimal surface for the daemon to consume AI state without pulling the full no_std kernel crate.
  4. Consciousness Scheduler — The scheduler module uses Earliest Deadline First with metabolic budgeting to prioritize AI tasks against system resource constraints, integrated at the engine level.
